What Canva is like in practice
Where it stands out
It gets someone with no design training to produce something presentable, and at that it has no rival: templates do half the work and the result comes out with reasonable proportions and typography without you knowing why. It also covers design, simple video, presentations, print and post scheduling in one subscription.
Where it falls short
Everybody uses its templates, so your pieces end up looking like your competitors', and that is a real problem if you are trying to build an identity. For demanding design work it falls short against professional tools, and its AI generation has fewer options than the specialists'.
How its pricing works
The free plan is one of the most complete around and is enough for many people. The paid one adds the brand kit, the full stock library and automatic resizing, which saves the most time if you publish across several networks. Check each asset's licence before using it commercially.

Not if you only use free elements. A diagonal watermark appears only on premium elements or Pro templates until you buy them or subscribe to Pro.
Which languages does the Canva interface support?
The full interface is available in Spanish and more than 30 languages. Canva AI also works in Spanish plus 15 additional languages.
Does Canva have an API for developers?
