Where it stands out
It presents itself as a teammate rather than a tool: it takes a task, works autonomously for hours, opens its own branch and submits the result for review. For large, well-scoped tasks — migrations, dependency updates, covering a module with tests — that level of autonomy is rare.
Where it falls short
Autonomy carries an underestimated cost: reviewing what an agent did for two hours is a serious task, and code that compiles and looks correct is the most dangerous kind. With poorly defined tasks or projects full of implicit conventions, the result drifts and has to be redone.
