AI tools for search engine optimisation.

AI SEO tools do two different things: some analyse — what people search for, what competitors have that you lack, which of your pages are slipping — and others produce, generating optimised text from a keyword. The first save you the work of gathering data you would otherwise pull by hand. The second promise the most and cause the most trouble, because publishing at scale is exactly what Google penalises.

How to choose a seo AI tool
Where its search data comes from
Search volumes and keyword difficulty are estimates, not official figures, and each tool uses its own source. For Spanish the gap between them is noticeable: many have solid English data and thin Spanish data. Cross-check five keywords you already know before trusting the rest.
Whether it connects to Search Console
It is the only real data you have: what Google shows you about your own site. A tool that reads it can tell you which pages are about to break into the top 10 or which queries you already receive without knowing. One that does not can only estimate from outside, and Search Console already does that for free.
What exactly it does with content
There is a difference between a tool that tells you what your article is missing and one that writes it for you. The first makes your work better; the second gives you text that looks like everyone else's using the same tool on the same keyword. If you use the second, plan on rewriting.
How many projects and queries are included
Nearly all of them cap sites, tracked keywords and monthly queries, and those caps are what really set the price. If you run several projects or client sites, look at the second pricing tier: the entry plan usually runs out in the first month.
Before you pay, keep this in mind
No tool can guarantee you a position on Google, and any that promises one is selling smoke. Nor is there an optimisation score that Google uses: those 0-to-100 numbers are each tool's own invention, useful as a checklist and nothing more. Chasing 100 usually makes the text worse. And publishing mass-generated articles to cover keywords is exactly what the low-value content guidelines describe: the risk is not theoretical.
Frequently asked questions
Does AI help you rank on Google?
It helps with the analysis side: finding opportunities, spotting what an article is missing, grouping keywords by intent. For producing content it works as a first draft. What it does not do is replace the judgement of knowing what deserves publishing, which is exactly what separates a site that ranks from one that does not.
Are there free AI SEO tools?
Search Console and Google Analytics are free and give you the most reliable data you will get about your own site. Among the paid ones, several have free tiers with limited monthly queries, enough for a small project. You can filter by free plan in the listing on this page.
Are the search volumes they report reliable?
They are estimates, and different tools report very different figures for the same keyword, especially in Spanish. Use them to compare keywords against each other, not as absolute numbers: knowing A is searched five times more than B is useful even if the exact figures are wrong.
